New Arrivals: Pyramid Selection

The one thing about cigars is just how many there are to try, if you want to get a good variety you either have to have very deep pockets and buy boxes (often of 20- 25 as surprisingly few companies do 3-5 packs), or you have to buy singles which is more expensive.

One great way to do it is with a box split, or in this case 5 box splits, each box is a different type of Pyramid and you get a couple from each of the boxes, it keeps the cost down, and allows you to sample the cigars to see if you might want a box of a specific cigar…

So I got in on a Pyramid split, cant wait to try them and see which are my favourites.

New Arrivals: Cohiba Robusto + Hoyo Epicure No 2

Just a couple of small packs to give me a bit more variety in the humidor. I have never had the Cohiba Robusto’s so I just thought it was about time, and with the weather drawing in its time for slightly quicker smokes.

I have had the Hoyo’s before and they are a nice stick when you just want a light – medium cigar.

Humidor: New Arrivals – Flores Y Rodriguez – Exclusivo The Coney

Somehow PDR cigars dont seem to be very popular, but I really liked the PDR 1878 Reserva Dominicana Capa Habana Robusto, so I have been looking to try other PDR cigars, especially as they are often reduced heavily !

So whilst reading around on the net I read a couple of reviews of these cigars, and when my friend in the USA told me the price I just had to get some, lets just say they were heavily discounted.

Humidor: New Arrivals – Ramon Allones Specially Selected

Next up 5 Ramon Allones Specially Selected (RASS), a Robusto sized cigar, Robusto is one of my favourite sizes.

You may notice that in the picture I only have 4 cigars, I have been wanting to try this cigar for a while so on Sunday I could not resist any longer, hence 4.

Humidor: New Arrivals – Magnum 48

I have got as little behind with updating my site with the new cigars that I have, so some of these are not really as “new arrivals” as they should be.

First up are 5 Magnum 48’s (2009), I really like Upmann cigars (46, 50) and as these have some age on them I am sure they will be excellent, just the wrapper alone makes you want to try one!
